Bas relief portrait plaque of Prince Anton Bibescu (1878–1951) and Princess Elizabeth Asquith Bibescu (1897–1945). Bibescu was Minister of the Romanian Legation in Washington, D.C. 1920 –1926. This plaquette was produced three years after Elizabeth Bibesco (English writer) was famously painted by Augustus John. Cast by Whitehead and Hoag Company, Newark, New Jersey.
