Notes / Sources | Used as American Legion Medal with added symbol above griffin. Possibly an early version of the 1934 Veterans of Foreign Wars Medal for Lawrence, MA cast by Robbins Co. Also seen as a pendant on two occasions, one in silver with "JFC" and "LIFE PASS" another with SFAL and with top 1/4 of medal removed. Adapted for a design for the Third Corps Area / United States Army. Awarded to a baseball team from the Citizens’ Military Training Camps.
