The recreation of an artist’s hand and painting technique is regularly the most detail-oriented aspect of repainting a work of art. Over time, the large Start to Finish sculpture outside of the Applied Sciences Complex had begun to fade from being exposed to direct sunlight for nearly 30 years. Detailed photos were taken of each figure, and with paint specifications from 1990, the Public Art Incubator was able to match colors and repaint according to the style and intent of the artist.
