In this artwork, Bart offers reflections on the fragment as a material language. Through the part, we experience the absence of the whole. Minimal in form, yet rich in association, the book is part manual, part primer, and part elegy as it merges the blackened silhouettes of garment patterns with the prose poem, Clothes, by the Greek poet C. P. Cavafy.
