The curling lines also seen in Winter are overlayed on the silhouette of a head, noticeably absent from the facing image of the fish. Are these curling lines symbolizing thoughts, burdens, or creativity on the side of the human head? Without these lines obscuring the fish, the viewer has a clearer, more detailed view of the image on the right side. What might these two figures be contemplating?
