Fifteen bronzes of a 1936 original cast of the Mask of Abraham Lincoln done in 1986 by Pegasus Productions with royalties to Charlotte Petersen. Ten of them given to the Octagon Center for the Arts, Ames, Iowa, in 1986 for an annual volunteer of the year award...

Thirty-six pairs of castings of the originals were done by Pegasus Productions in 1986, by royalty arrangement with Charlotte and Mary Petersen.

Forty-two reproductions of the 1943 original were made by Foster Willey of Minneapolis, Minnesota. One was purchased for the Brunnier Art Museum, one for University Museums education program, and forty were presented as gifts to donors, Family and Consumer Sciences…

This bronze sculpture was cast by J.A.M. Studio from the original plaster sculpture created by Christian Petersen in 1942. The sculpture is a full length figure of Carver who holds a peanut in his raised left hand. Three castings were made.

Petersen saw children on a mule after the 1938 flood in Kentucky. A posthumous bronze casting of this piece was created in 1969 after Petersen’s death. This mold is from that casting process.
